DMCA & Copyright Policy
Overview
Camzup.com respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users and linked platforms to do the same. This policy is provided in accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, 17 U.S.C. § 512 (“DMCA”).
As an aggregator and directory service, we do not host, upload, or store any content. All streams and media are hosted exclusively on third-party platforms. If content you own appears on a third-party platform, please submit takedown requests directly to that platform. We will assist in forwarding notices where appropriate.
Designated Agent
Pursuant to 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(2), Camzup.com has designated an agent to receive notices of claimed copyright infringement. To file a takedown notice, please contact our designated agent by email:
Requirements for a Valid Takedown Notice
To be actionable under 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3), your written notice must include all of the following:
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorised to act on their behalf.
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed, or a representative list if multiple works are at issue.
- Identification of the material claimed to be infringing, and information reasonably sufficient to permit us to locate it (e.g., a specific URL).
- Your contact information: name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use of the material is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement made under penalty of perjury that the information in the notification is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on the owner’s behalf.
Notices that do not satisfy all statutory requirements may not receive a response.
Counter-Notice Procedure
If you believe material was removed or disabled as a result of a mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice under 17 U.S.C. § 512(g). A valid counter-notice must include:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the material that was removed and its location prior to removal.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the removal was due to mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, address, telephone number, and a statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the applicable Federal District Court and accepting service of process from the complainant.
Repeat Infringer Policy
In appropriate circumstances, and at our sole discretion, we will disable access to or remove links associated with users or services found to be repeat infringers of copyright.
Misrepresentation Warning
Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing, or that material was removed by mistake, may be subject to liability for damages including costs and attorneys’ fees. Please ensure the accuracy of your notices before submission.
Third-Party Platforms
Because all streamed content is hosted on third-party platforms, rights-holders are encouraged to contact those platforms directly. We cooperate fully with all lawful requests from copyright owners and their authorised representatives.
